Dojo Update

Hi everyone hope you are all staying well in these unusual times. Obviously the Dojo will remain closed until social distancing regulations are relaxed but we are ready to resume classes as soon as possible.

Also, James Sensei is out of hospital and well. There are more tests to be done however before a final prognosis is known.

Try applying these basic principles to your daily regime:
1) Keep one point
2) Relax progressively
3) Correct posture
4) Positive mind

COVID-19 Temporary Dojo closure

In light of the rapidly developing situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, I have consulted with senior members of our dojo, with other dojo leaders and I’ve taken what I believe is the responsible decision to close our Aikido dojo until the end of the Easter school Holidays (week of the 20th April 2020).

The decision was made with the health and well-being of all students in my mind but we need to help protect the wider community as well.

Please check the dojo website ( and facebook page ( for notifications and updates about our closure.

James Sensei will be back training when we return and will be available to answer any questions you have when we return to training after this short hiatus. Thank you for your understanding.
